A life of exile in Vancouver, Canada

Ed Don BlossomOur friend Ed came round today and we went for a picnic and walk in Regents Park (which is going to be a venue for the 2012 Olympics). Oh my gosh, it was very hot today, at least 79F and everybody was taking advantage of the nice weather – it was as crowded as Oxford Street on a Saturday morning!! However, it was very nice, lots of flowers in bloom and men stripping – what more could we have asked for!! Picture of Ed and Don to the left and of course the beautiful blossom.

We came back to our place for dessert, Don and Ed had cherry garcia frozen yoghurt and I had regular yoghurt. Ed had also bought some Battenberg cake which I hadn’t had for ages. It’s the sweet marzipan that does it for me I think!

I felt really sick towards the end of the afternoon, I think the heat got to me. I had a really bad stomache and headache. Took some pills and lied down for a little while. Felt a little better.

Tonight we watched another episode of Doctor Who, set in New New York of the future. It was quite good for a British production.
