A life of exile in Vancouver, Canada

Family Visit

Don and I went down to Upminster to visit my family.

The train journey was long as our usual line is out of business for a while. So we had to go from Camden to London Bridge to West Ham to Upminster. A round the houses trip as they would say here.

We wrapped up a lot of goodies while we were there. My brother Robert, sister-in-law Sarah, nephew Ben and niece Amie came round. It was great fun playing with the kids and I wish I could spend more time with them.

We went to see my father who seemed to be in very good form today, very cheerful even though a little forgetful. A big change from recent days where he’s been a little naughty.

Back at my Mom’s home we continued to wrap presents then my Mom made us lunch.

When we got back to Camden we did a little bit of shopping then went home and did bugger all for the rest of the day!
