During last years Anti-Proposition 8 rally we met Roger and Jim who have since made a documentary film.  The film is about LGBT couples who have faced discrimination in US immigration legislation and are currently living exiled in Canada.

The film has been accepted by the Vancouver Queer Film Festival which takes place this August 2010.  This is extremely exciting news for Roger and Jim but also for all Love Exiles since this will raise more awareness of the issues that couples have to face as a result of these draconian and out of date laws.  Roger and Jim will also be submitting the film to other film festivals so we look forward to this having an extended audience in the near future!

Don and I will appear in the film, and although I do not like seeing or hearing myself on film there is no time for vanity when there is such an important cause to tell the world about.
