Today we experienced our first Chinese New Year Parade in Vancouver.  It was a low key affair compared to last year due to the Olympics, it started at 9.30, the parade took 45 minutes to pass, and was supposed to have completed it’s route by 11.00.

It was a very colourful and noisy event, the noise of course coming from the many crackers going off.  Click on a picture to view a large one.
