A life of exile in Vancouver, Canada

Today we went to Stevetson in Richmond to see what it was all about.  We had heard positive things about the town so we thought we would check it out.  It is quite a cute place with a couple of streets having that old village feel about it but by the sea side.  There are some nice stores like the Romanian Country Bread Bakery with its own brick oven, which looks amazing and the bread tastes great too, just a little expensive at $10 a loaf.  There is a nice marina with lots of fish and chip places, some reasonable in price, some too expensive.  It is more like a working marina than pleasure boats, and it was great to see a boat selling fresh fish as though they had just gone out and caught it!  Over all a very pleasant 2 or 3 hours there, enjoy the photos, click for larger version:
